The Heart is a roiling tear of unreality beneath the city of Spire. Within its borders, there are routes to unknown places, great secrets, shrines to long-dead gods, and monsters the like of which have never been seen on the surface world.

In the Heart RPG, players take on the role of delvers – strange, desperate, broken people exploring the nightmare city in search of the object of their obsessions. Take your first steps into the City Beneath with this streamlined version of the rules for the Heart RPG. This document includes:
★ All the rules you need to adventure, go mad and die in the Heart
★ Five pre-generated characters with space for advancement: the magic-addicted Junk Mage, the zealous Heretic, the noble Vermissian Knight, and more
★ An adventure, Drowned, which sees you rescuing vital components from a lost settlement to put a stop to coral-boned monsters flooding the Church of the Moon Beneath with salt water.

The 2024 printing has been updated with errata, layout upgrades, and a spine to ease shelving and collecting.

General Shipping

All shipments within the contiguous USA are free for any order over $99.99. For all other items, standard shipping prices apply. Generally, orders placed with us will leave our warehouse within one business day. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, an order will take up to three to five business days to ship. If this happens we will be sure to contact you and let you know when your item will ship. Although your item may ship out immediately it may take longer than that to receive your tracking number. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via email as soon as that information becomes available to us. Generally, we will ship all orders via UPS. We reserve the right to use any carrier.

For item over 70 lbs:

Pools, Foosball tables, Air Hockey etc. are shipped via Freight Carrier on a pallet. We will contact you when we receive the order to confirm all shipping information. Once the game has shipped and arrives at the delivery terminal, the Freight Carrier will contact you to set up a 3-4 hour window for delivery. All games are delivered with a liftgate service and the driver will place the item in your driveway.  (They may place it in your garage, but are not required to do so.)

  • Free Shipping only applies to orders in the contiguous United States.


  • Shipments To Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and US Territories

    • We are happy to ship to one of these areas but unfortunately additional shipping may be charged. To see the cost to ship to one of these areas, add a product to your cart and go through the checkout process. Costs are determined by your exact location. All shipments to one of these areas will also ship within 3 business days. In most cases, your order will leave our warehouse within 1 business day.
